Shaina Khalid is a South Louisiana native who found community in the Colorado birth work realm in 2019. Since then, Shaina has taken two DONA doula workshops, Birth and Certified Lactation Educator (CLE) workshops, CPR training, Yoni Steam Practitioner Certification, and recently completed the Allo Doula Academy Certified Professional Doula Course (CPD).

Shaina has an ever-deepening connection to Louisiana Creole culture that expresses itself through cooking in the kitchen and dance. Shaina considers herself a creative being who is a lifelong learner and avid reader.
