Hello, my name is SunnieRae Lopez, and I am a Certified Professional Labor and Postpartum Doula.

I have been a labor and postpartum doula supporting families throughout my doula career for over 3 years now! I have experience in teaching children, as well as I have my Early Childhood Education Teacher’s Certification. I was a teacher for over 3 years after I started my doula career! In May of 2022 I wanted to further my education in helping families and supporting others since that’s what I love to do best and I have the biggest passion for! I’ve always had a huge interest in being a Doula, so once I had the opportunity, after I finished college, I looked for places to teach me more about being a doula. That’s when I found Allo Doula Academy, and I quickly started my journey from there and I haven’t looked back since!

My Doula training includes all Pregnancy, Labor and birth, Postpartum Care and Lactation Support as well. Once I was in the labor and delivery room supporting mothers and their partners through the most beautiful life changing experience happening in their lives, that’s when I knew being a Labor Doula is what I wanted to do! The heart-pumping feeling as a doula giving support to the laboring mothers and fathers, and giving them all of my support, all of my comforts, soothing affirmations, encouraging their labor to help, I especially love texting with a mother and checking up with her and seeing how her pregnancy is! Sending over some helpful meal plans, a Resources list, or even if it’s just some pleasant affirmations.

By choosing me as your Doula I will provide you with the utmost care and give you and your partner all of the support and care during the time you’re in labor. Your labor experience is totally how you want to have it with you and your partner, and I do not determine the way you decide how you want to have your labor! I’m there to help support you and make this experience how you want!
